Chef Murray G. Dychtwald, Morgan’s father, has over 40 years as an executive chef, a culinary educator, hospitality consultant, a food stylist, event planner, and professional fundraiser. For the past 25 years he has been the owner & president of Restaurant Rescue and MGD Consultants, designing and building restaurants, and various types of food establishments in NY, NJ., PA., CT. Mr. Dychtwald serves on the board of the Ocean County Tourism Council, the OCVTS advisory board, The Chairman of the Ocean County Foundation for Voc-Tec Education. As an event planner & Culinary Chair, he co-ordinates a number of various annual charitable events, including the OCFVTE Chef’s Night out Event & the Jersey Shore Partnerships Summer Celebration.
Chef Dychtwald has been honored for his service to the community and named Citizen of the Year by the Toms River Township, Toms River school Board, the Toms River Chamber of Commerce, Toms River PBA, and Ocean County board of Chosen Freeholders for his volunteer work, by running the kitchen’s that feed 10,000’s victims, police, firemen & first responders from Hurricane Sandy.
Today, Chef Dychtwald and his wife Barbara are looking forward to taking their vast years of experience as fundraisers, to making “Breathe, The Morgan Lucas Schuldt Foundation for Cystic Fibrosis” successful, in Honor and memory of their Son.
